Warranty conditions

Article 1: General

These warranty terms and conditions apply to all agreements concluded between herofatbikes.nl and the customer. In these terms and conditions, "the customer" means any natural person or legal entity that has entered into an agreement with herofatbikes.nl.

Article 2: Warranty period

herofatbikes.nl offers a 6-month warranty on all Fatbikes. The warranty period begins on the date the customer receives the product.

Article 3: Exceptions

The warranty does not apply if the defects are wholly or partially the result of improper, careless, or unskilled use, external causes such as fire or water damage, or if the customer has modified the product. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage resulting from intensive use.

Warranty is excluded for:

  • Aesthetic damage, such as scratches and fall damage.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Fat bikes that have been tuned to above 25 km/h (legal maximum).
  • Fat bikes to which parts have been added that do not come from herofatbikes.nl
  • Parts whose useful life has expired.
  • Tyres
  • Moisture damage

Article 4: Warranty claims

To submit a warranty claim, the customer must contact herofatbikes.nl customer service within the warranty period. The customer must clearly describe the complaint and, if possible, provide photographs. If the defect is covered by the warranty, herofatbikes.nl will arrange for the product to be repaired.

Article 5: Shipping of parts.

Suppose something breaks for a legitimate reason, and a clear warranty claim has been made between the customer and herofatbikes.nl. The customer is then entitled to a warranty claim. A spare part will then be shipped to the customer free of charge. From there, you will be responsible for repairing the fat bike yourself.
